Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Rose Accounts and Books collects and uses information when you visit this website. If you become a client, a separate, more detailed Privacy Notice covering your bookkeeping data is provided as part of onboarding.

What I collect

If you get in touch through my contact form or book a discovery call, I'll collect the details you provide — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you tell me about your business or enquiry.

Why I collect it

I use this information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a discovery call, and follow up about my services. I won't use it for anything else without asking you first.

Cookies

This website is built on Wix, which uses cookies to help the site run properly and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Who I might share it with

I don't sell or pass on your details to third parties for marketing. Your enquiry details are stored securely within Wix (my website and contact form provider). If you book a discovery call, this is arranged through Calendly, which will handle your name and email in the same way. Calendly's own privacy notice is available at calendly.com/privacy.

How long I keep it

If you don't go on to become a client, I'll keep your enquiry details only as long as needed to follow up with you, and will delete them after a reasonable period of inactivity.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email me at joanne@rosebooks.co.uk and I'll sort this out within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can contact me directly, or raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Questions

If anything here isn't clear, email me at joanne@rosebooks.co.uk — I'm happy to explain.
